On The Journey

Sitting in this place I see

The sun rising there in front of me

Such beauty is so hard to tell

Makes me thankful I am well

Well enough to be in this spot

Able to learn as I am taught

On my way to another conference

That in my life may make a difference

I want to learn from learned ones

I want to soak it up like a sponge

I want then to apply that great wisdom

To all who will hear a word from him

A word to learn and then to do

Using faithfully His love so true

Sharing with others along the way

As I journey with him every day
